skate. Weekly Grind confirms Season 5’s final week of The Curse of Morg
skate. has entered the final week of Season 5, and Full Circle has set the end date for The Curse of Morg. In The Weekly Grind for Oct. 27, posted by Braddock512, the studio said Week 8 is live now and that players can keep earning Tributes from Glyphs and Bounties, then offer them at Altars while Isle of Morg remains in Open Access until Nov. 3.
That date also marks the switch back to the island’s original look. Full Circle said that on Nov. 3 “the skies of San Van will clear,” the island will be restored as the Isle of Grom, and the Pump House park will revert. The studio added that Update 0.33.0 will bring Pump House back, “but without the Morg influence.”
Season 5’s last week is live
The Weekly Grind frames this as the closing stretch of the current seasonal event, with the final days of the Morg theme running alongside new calendar items and a fresh bug-tracking update. Full Circle said the team is still working on the bugs players have reported and asked the community to keep sending in issues so they can be fixed.
The week’s schedule includes a mix of in-game and community items. Full Circle listed the following:
- The Weekly Grind returns today
- New Weekly Bounties today
- Welcome Realistic Contest winners announcement on Oct. 27
- Band Shirts in the Extravert Shop
- Judging for The Isle of Morg Screenshot Contest has begun
There is also more on the way after this week. Full Circle said Brand Partner Realistic Video Contests are coming, and that the Baker Realistic Video Contest will start in November with a focus on Parry Point Park. Another listed beat, “Have You Seen Him?” Part 2, is scheduled for Nov. 3.
Band shirts hit the Extravert Store
One of the immediate additions in the announcement is a new set of band shirts. Full Circle said shirts from Bad Religion, Sonic Youth, and Motörhead are available in the in-game Extravert Store from Oct. 27 through Nov. 10, 2026.
The studio also highlighted community creations that caught its eye. It pointed readers to screenshots, videos, and clips shared through skate.reel, the official Discord, and the community-run subreddit, and it included examples such as “Morg isn’t the only thing trying to escape the island,” “Skateboarding + Morg = scytheboarding,” and “Open your Tomes of Morg to page….”
Known issues list grows across PC, Xbox and PlayStation
Full Circle said part of The Weekly Grind will be used to track current known issues, active deployments or fixes, and next steps. This entry includes a long list of bugs, some with temporary workarounds and some without.
Among the reported issues are MP4 export problems, with a PC-only workaround using WebM format. On Xbox, the studio said players should check Settings > Captures and make sure the setting shows “Captures by Me and Games” rather than just “Captures by Me.” Another workaround applies to Quick Drop: if the radial menu fails to enter the mode, holding D-Pad Left is the suggested fix.
Other entries in the list cover trick detection, visual glitches, challenge progress and camera bugs. Full Circle said tailslides and noseslides are not always detected correctly when approaching a ledge from its end, wallride detection can cause the skater to flip unnaturally, and Quick Ollie/Nollie into No-Foot Grab can produce leg clipping with the board. It also noted a double revert issue at the apex of a ramp and a bug where a skater can spawn off-board and the camera can freeze after resetting a Session Marker set at a ledge in the drop-in position.
The list also includes progression and interface problems. Some accounts cannot see challenges in Gullcrest and Market Mile that should have unlocked at Rank 1, the M-Corp Offices fast travel point overlaps with the Gift Graffiti collectible, and some store items continue to appear as new or unseen with the yellow dot. Full Circle also noted that the Challenges Tracker counts inactive Spotlight Challenges inside the Location Selector Panel, and that co-op symbols in challenge icons do not always reflect completion status.
Elsewhere on the list, the studio pointed to problems with social settings not updating to reflect parental controls, Proximity Voice Chat audio not dropping with distance during Throwdowns, and high-velocity vehicles sometimes spawning outside roads. It also called out an error that can appear when rerolling endless bounties twice in a row without leaving the menu, along with issues affecting Challenge-based Crew Bounties, party travel on Gen 4 consoles, and a mission titled “Visit areas of SUMR Camp!” that is stuck at 9/10 after all 10 areas are visited.
With the final week of The Curse of Morg now underway, the next major change Full Circle has already lined up is the return of Pump House in Update 0.33.0.

last season i spent way too long trying to land a clean tailslide on a ledge in skate. and it kept reading as nothing, so seeing them mention tailslides/noseslides still being weird is weirdly comforting lol. the double revert at the apex of a ramp sounds like exactly the kind of jank that makes a clip go from sick to busted in one frame. at least they’re still posting actual workarounds instead of just saying “we’re aware” and disappearing
the workarounds are useful but i wish they’d fix the quick ollie into no-foot grab clipping first. that stuff is way more noticeable when you’re just free roaming
you get that a lot on ledges?
if it’s the end-approach thing, that’s more than a small bug. in session you can usually blame your own line, but a bad detect on a ledge kills the whole run
yeah exactly, sometimes it feels like the board just ghosts the ledge. if they clean up the detection and that weird wallride flip thing, the game will feel a lot closer to what i actually do on a board
are those band shirts actually worth grabbing, or is it just filler shop junk?
probably just cosmetics. if you like the bands, sure, but for everyone else it’s another store refresh
figured as much, cheers
the Xbox capture setting one is actually handy. “Captures by Me and Games” is the sort of tiny menu thing that can waste half an hour if you don’t know where to look
and the pc-only webm workaround is the same kind of fix you see in every patch note now. not ideal, but at least they named the exact setting instead of making people dig
webm is fine for clips, but if export is broken on one platform that’s still a real pain. quick workarounds help, yet they shouldn’t be the main answer for every bug
Pump House coming back without the Morg stuff is the bit i was waiting for. that whole island mood has run its course for me
same, the reversion to Isle of Grom feels like the proper reset. the Morg theme was fun for a bit, but it started to feel like a Halloween event that overstayed its welcome
i actually had one of my better sessions there because the weird vibe made me try lines i normally ignore. caught a clean line through Pump House, bailed twice, then finally linked it and clipped it just before the reset marker. if they keep the park layout but ditch the Morg stuff, that’s probably the best of both worlds for me. i just hope the revert does not mess with the flow too much
fair, the layout matters more than the skins and fog. if Pump House still rides well after the update, i’m good with the theme going away
worth keeping?
if you like the seasonal stuff, yes. if you only care about skating clean lines, wait for the update and see how stable it is
nah, i’d say no. those bug lists usually look scarier than they play, and if you’re just free skating you can still have a good time
the known issues list is longer than the feature list at this point. i’d rather they slow down the seasonal gimmicks and spend a cycle just fixing the core stuff
nah, the seasonal stuff keeps the game moving. if they stop doing events, half the playerbase drifts off and the problems just sit there anyway
but if the bugs keep piling up, the events just put a shiny wrapper on a rough build. i’m not saying kill the content, just give the core some breathing room
still needs both
for xbox guys, does the quick drop workaround actually work in matches or is it just for free roam?
works for me in both, but D-Pad Left is a bit weird on wheel muscle memory lol
Morg’s over then
