FIFAUTeam maps out FC 27 FUT Birthday with two-week Ultimate Team promo

FIFAUTeam has outlined the FC 27 FUT Birthday promo, saying the Ultimate Team anniversary event runs for two full weeks and is split into two themed squads. The outlet lists the event from 12 March 2026 at 18:00 to 26 March 2026 at 18:00, and says FUT Birthday has been part of the series since FIFA 14.

According to the article, FUT Birthday marks the anniversary of Ultimate Team and comes back with the same broad structure the mode has used in recent years: packs, Objectives and daily SBCs. FIFAUTeam also notes that the dates for FC 27 are estimated rather than officially confirmed by EA SPORTS.

FC 27 FUT Birthday keeps the two-team format

The promo is again divided into Team 1 and Team 2. FIFAUTeam lists Team 1 for 12 March to 19 March, then Team 2 from 19 March to 26 March. That mirrors the usual FUT Birthday rollout, with the first batch of cards leading into a second wave a week later.

The article says FC 27 FUT Birthday brings a large selection of themed content across packs, Objectives and daily SBCs. Special items, including Heroes and Icons, receive permanent rating and attribute boosts, plus upgraded 5★ weak foot and 5★ skill moves. FIFAUTeam also says those items arrive without PlayStyles+, with players able to add two PlayStyles+ of their choice through Evolutions.

The outlet’s FAQ adds that FUT Birthday cards are not temporary boosts. It states that the items “can’t be upgraded” and that their stats are permanent, “remaining unchanged until the end of the game.”

Who is in the FC 27 card pools

FIFAUTeam lists a wide mix of players across both teams, from current stars to Icons and Heroes. Team 1 includes Lamine Yamal at 92, Cristiano Ronaldo at 92, Federico Valverde and Luka Modrić at 91 and 90, and Wendie Renard at 91. Team 1’s Icons and Heroes list includes Petr Čech, Maicon, Ronald Koeman, Toni Kroos, Nadine Keßler, Abedi Pelé, Ludovic Giuly, Ricardo Quaresma, Zlatan Ibrahimović, Gabriel Batistuta and Fernando Torres.

Team 2 is built around another long list of current players, including Pedri and Paul Pogba at 92, Claudia Pina at 92, Antony at 91, and Virgil van Dijk, Alessandro Bastoni and Antonio Rüdiger at 91. FIFAUTeam also lists Guro Reiten, Antoine Semenyo, Gabriel Martinelli, Sam Kerr and Julian Álvarez among the other headline names.

Its Team 2 Icons and Heroes pool includes Vincent Kompany, Lúcio, Javier Mascherano, Daniele De Rossi, Julie Foudy, Simone Laudehr, Bobby Charlton, Aya Miyama, Ferenc Puskás, Samuel Eto’o and Hernán Crespo.

SBC and Objective names sit alongside the main squads

Beyond the main Team 1 and Team 2 groupings, FIFAUTeam also lists separate Squad Building Challenges and Objectives selections. Team 1’s additional names include Esteban Cambiasso, Lothar Matthäus, Bernardo Silva, Bukayo Saka, Zé Roberto, Kingsley Coman, Jack Grealish, Cha Bum Kun, Robin van Persie, Peter Crouch and Mario Mandžukić.

Team 2’s SBC and Objectives names include Alex Scott, Matt Doherty, Bremer, Edmond Tapsoba, Yaya Touré, Michaël Essien, Kai Havertz, Ethan Mbappé, James Maddison, Trinity Rodman, Dejan Kulusevski, Bryan Mbeumo, Karim Adeyemi, Paulo Futre, Alexandra Popp, Carlos Tévez and Christian Benteke.

The article also points to a post-promo set of cards with extreme ratings, including Nico Schlotterbeck at 98, Quinten Timber at 98, Morgan Sanson and Seko Fofana at 97, Manaka Matsukubo at 97, Lautaro Martínez at 99 and Clara Matéo at 98. Those cards appear in the listing after the main FUT Birthday teams.

How FIFAUTeam says the cards are obtained

FIFAUTeam says FUT Birthday items can be obtained the same way as other cards: through packs or on the transfer market. It adds that they can appear in any pack containing player cards, including free packs, and that specific SBCs and objectives can also reward them.

The FAQ also warns that item management matters. If a rarity cosmetic is applied, the card cannot be used in the Birthday Bakery Evolutions because the item must stay on FUT Birthday rarity. The article further says that if a tradable FUT Birthday player is submitted, the item becomes untradeable and can no longer be listed on the Transfer Market.
