Super Sixers 2 guide: bat for hits and home runs in the browser

Super Sixers 2 is a baseball batting game about one clear task: time your swings well and drive the ball. The page invites players to bat their way to glory, chase hits and home runs, and help the team. It is free and runs in the browser on desktop and mobile with no download, and the page now plays the HTML5 game Flick Baseball Super Homerun instead of the original Flash version.

What Super Sixers 2 asks you to do

The game keeps the focus on batting rather than full baseball management. The goal is to meet the pitch cleanly, build a run of good contacts, and keep improving the result from swing to swing. The page text is direct about that: get ready to bat, see how many hits and home runs you can get, and hone your batting skills.

The older instructions describe a simple sequence. Use the arrow keys to position the batter, press space when you are ready for the pitch, then press space again to swing. The HTML5 version on the page lists the left mouse button as the control, so the live game centers on clicking at the right moment. The task stays the same in both versions: set yourself up, watch the pitch, and swing with timing rather than guesswork.

Controls and timing

  • Use the control shown on the running game page; the HTML5 version uses the left mouse button.
  • If the older keyboard instructions appear, treat them as background context, not the active control set.
  • Wait until the pitch is on its way before committing to the swing.
  • Keep your movement or clicking calm so the timing stays consistent from pitch to pitch.

How to build better contact

Batting games reward steady rhythm. A swing that comes too early or too late usually leads to weak contact or a miss, so the simplest way to improve is to focus on the pitch instead of trying to force power. The game gives you a clean, repeatable challenge, and that makes patience valuable. Watch the ball come in, judge the timing, and let the swing follow that timing instead of rushing it.

The opening pitch is often the easiest place to get careless. A better approach is to settle in and treat each at-bat as its own short sequence. That helps with both hits and home runs, because solid contact usually comes first and bigger drives follow once the timing feels natural. The page’s promise is straightforward, and the game matches it: the more consistent the swing, the better the chance of seeing the ball travel.

Tips for more hits and home runs

Home runs are the flashy result, but repeated hits are what keep the game moving. A few simple habits can make the difference between a missed pitch and a clean strike:

  • Track the pitch from the start instead of reacting at the last second.
  • Use the moment before the pitch to get comfortable with the rhythm.
  • Aim for clean contact first; chasing only big swings can leave you empty-handed.
  • If one pitch feels awkward, reset your timing for the next one instead of carrying the mistake forward.
  • Keep the same tempo across multiple at-bats so the timing does not change from swing to swing.

That approach fits the game’s structure. Super Sixers 2 does not ask for complicated play-calling or a long list of buttons. It asks for timing, attention, and a steady swing. When those three line up, the hits start to come more often, and the stronger contact becomes much easier to find.

Common mistakes that cost good swings

The biggest problem is usually impatience. Swinging too soon can spoil a good pitch, while waiting too long can make the ball pass before the bat is ready. Another mistake is changing the rhythm after one bad result. Baseball batting games are easier when the same calm approach is kept from pitch to pitch.

It also helps not to get distracted by the difference between the old and current instructions. The page includes keyboard directions from the original version, but the live HTML5 game uses the left mouse button. Following the control shown on the page avoids confusion and keeps attention where it belongs: on the pitch and the swing.

More browser sports games to try

If this batting challenge fits the mood, a few other Sports Games Plus games use the same quick, browser-friendly setup. State of Play Baseball stays in the baseball lane and asks you to get enough hits to score runs. Tennis 2 swaps the bat for racket timing and fast returns. Super Pass Football shifts to football passing with arcade-style ball physics.

better than a keyboard mash for sure. on mobile the click version usually feels more natural anyway if the timing is not too strict.

yeah that’s what i was hoping for. if they kept the old arrows on the page by mistake i’d just ignore them and go with the mouse anyway.

yeah that’s the bit i like most, no faffing with a bunch of keys on chromebook. if the timing is decent and the click window is fair, it’s basically a proper lunch-break game. the old arrow key stuff is fine as background, but live controls should always be the ones on screen.
