FC 27 Black Friday event is set to start on November 27, FIFAUTeam says

FIFAUTeam says EA SPORTS FC 27‘s Black Friday event is expected to begin on November 27, 2026 and run until December 4, 2026, bringing back the annual Ultimate Team promo built around pack offers, Flash SBCs and special item re-releases.

The outlet describes Black Friday as one of the most popular events in the Ultimate Team cycle and says it “celebrates the start of the Christmas shopping season.” In FC terms, that usually means a busy stretch of store activity rather than a single card drop, with hourly pack refreshes and short-lived offers taking centre stage. FIFAUTeam also notes that this promotion does not begin at the usual 6 pm time associated with many Ultimate Team releases.

How Black Friday is set up in FC 27

According to FIFAUTeam, the 2026 Black Friday event should mix store content with SBC activity across the week. The page lists new promo packs every hour, Lightning Rounds, Flash squad building challenges, improved EVOs, the return of Best TOTW items in packs and Best of Campaign items in packs.

It also says extra special player items should be added to packs during the event, including Thunderstruck players, Icons and Champions Icons. That makes Black Friday more about the range of available packs than about any single headline release, with the store, SBC tab and special team pools all active at the same time.

FIFAUTeam’s FAQ is clear on one point that often gets confused during the event: pack prices do not go down on Black Friday. The site says players will have many pack options, but not cheaper packs.

Estimated dates follow the usual Friday pattern

FIFAUTeam marks the FC 27 dates as estimated, but the schedule shown on the page follows the usual Black Friday pattern. For FC 27, the event is listed as starting on 27/11/2026 at 14:00 and ending on 04/12/2026 at 18:00. The article also says Black Friday was first released in FIFA 15.

The historical list on the page shows how the promo has moved over the years. Recent entries include:

• FC 26: 28/11/2025 to 05/12/2025
• FC 25: 29/11/2024 to 06/12/2024
• FC 24: 24/11/2023 to 28/11/2023
• FC 23: 25/11/2022 to 29/11/2022
• FC 22: 26/11/2021 to 30/11/2021
• FC 21: 27/11/2020 to 30/11/2020

Earlier editions were shorter still, with FC 20 running from 29/11/2019 to 01/12/2019, FC 19 from 23/11/2018 to 27/11/2018 and FC 18 from 24/11/2017 to 25/11/2017. FIFAUTeam’s own FAQ sums up the modern rhythm by saying Black Friday “starts on the Friday and ends one week later.”

Special item pools and SBC rewards

The page also breaks down when different special-item pools should be available during the promo. FIFAUTeam says Best of TOTW items are due from 25/11 to 04/12, Best of Campaigns from 27/11 to 05/12, and both Thunderstruck Team 1 and Thunderstruck Icons Team 1 from 27/11 to 04/12.

Its player listings are broad, covering Team of the Week re-releases, campaign cards, Thunderstruck variants, Icons, SBC rewards and objective items. Among the names shown on the page are Alexia Putellas, Jude Bellingham, Erling Haaland, Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk, Kylian Mbappé, Caroline Hansen, Diego Maradona and Paolo Maldini, with different versions and ratings appearing across the various pools.

The article also separates out smaller Thunderstruck mini-releases and SBC or Objective items. In that section, FIFAUTeam includes names such as Ronald Koeman, Christopher Nkunku and Fernando Torres in the SBC area, plus Amaiur Sarriegi in Seasons. The overall structure matches the usual Black Friday format: a heavy pack window supported by limited-time challenges and reward paths outside the store.

FIFAUTeam says the FC 27 Black Friday event remains estimated, but the page currently points to a November 27 start, a December 4 finish and a week of hourly packs, Lightning Rounds, Flash SBCs and special item returns in between.
